  1. The Fame Monster cover

    ReviewAlbum

Bertinhoo reviewed The Fame Monster by Lady Gaga

    4.5 out of 5 stars

Easily one of the greatest debut albums ever, and a blueprint for many records that followed, including Born This Way and, most recently, Mayhem. The Fame Monster was such a phenomenon that it practically created a genre of its own.

  2. petal cover

    ReviewAlbum

Bertinhoo reviewed petal by Ariana Grande

    5.0 out of 5 stars

I can listen to Petal from start to finish without even noticing the transitions between tracks. It feels like a magical ride. Ariana is also one of the best vocalists of her generation, which makes it no surprise that she can deliver such a well-crafted record. She'll definitely be in my Wrapped this year!

  4. Music, Fashion, Film cover

    ReviewAlbum

Bertinhoo reviewed Music, Fashion, Film by Charli XCX

    3.0 out of 5 stars

I personally like the aesthetic, and some tracks, like SS26, feel serious and thoughtfully crafted. However, I can't help but feel that most of the songs don't quite come together to form a cohesive album, nor do they particularly resonate with me.

  5. Spanish Leather cover

    ReviewAlbum

Bertinhoo reviewed Spanish Leather by Guitarricadelafuente

    5.0 out of 5 stars

This refined blend of rawness and poetry gets me every time. Guitarricadelafuente put a lot of great work into this record, and it really shows. I feel comfortable and at ease listening to Spanish Leather, mostly because of the way it captures Spanish culture, weaving together love stories and deep reflections through poetic lyrics and memorable melodies.

  6. CHROMAKOPIA cover

    ReviewAlbum

Bertinhoo reviewed CHROMAKOPIA by Tyler, the Creator

    4.5 out of 5 stars

I just feel like Chromakopia didn't get the recognition it deserved. It's been one of my favourite rap albums since its release. Some of its lyrics and melodies have been living rent-free in my head ever since, largely because Tyler is such a great storyteller. His mother's voice recordings add another emotional layer to the album, making the experience feel much more personal and intimate. It's one of those albums that stays with you long after you've finished listening.

  7. dont smile at me cover

    ReviewAlbum

Bertinhoo reviewed dont smile at me by Billie Eilish

    4.5 out of 5 stars

Just comes to show how Billie has been cooking up great music since the beggining. There are a lot of underrated songs in here

  8. Melodrama cover

    ReviewAlbum

    Bertinhoo reviewed Melodrama by Lorde

    4.5 out of 5 stars

Apart from the energetic vibe, Lorde showcased how good of a songwriter she is here. So most of us can deeply relate to this album. That's what has consolidated her as one of the biggest pop artists right now.

  9. LUX cover

    ReviewAlbum

    Bertinhoo reviewed LUX by ROSALÍA

    5.0 out of 5 stars

Hands down, the greatest album ever made. Apart from being a cohesive piece of art, this record contains various stories illustrated by Rosalia's flawless vocals scattered across 13 different languages. Very few 21st century artists could accomplish such a masterpiece.

  10. Born to Die cover

    ReviewAlbum

Bertinhoo reviewed Born to Die by Lana Del Rey

    5.0 out of 5 stars

Few albums can stay on the Billboard200 for so long, this just comes to show the impact of Born To Die across generations. It's crazy to have so many bangers inside one record.
