First Listen Vibes: I think this album had some real bangers that for me was crowded a little bit by some more generic pop tracks. I don’t think anything on this album made me irritated or anything that I just straight up disliked, but I think there was a lot of songs that I just was ready to skip. I wish I liked pop more and maybe as I grow and pop sensibility. I’ll enjoy this more, but I definitely enjoyed things like abracadabra and the opening track disease and some other tracks throughout. Another problem I had with it was that it felt a little too long. About the halfway point I was like oh it’s probably wrapping up and then I looked at the upcoming tracks and realized we weren’t even halfway over so it was a little long for my taste too. But overall good record and would recommend it.

About
“Mayhem” is the seventh studio album by American singer Lady Gaga. It was released on March 7, 2025, through Streamline and Interscope Records. During the creation of the album, Gaga collaborated with producers such as Andrew Watt, Cirkut and Gesaffelstein. The album was recorded at Rick Rubin's studio Shangri-La, in Malibu, California. The album was preceded by the release of two singles. Its lead single, "Disease", was released on October 25, 2024. "Abracadabra" followed as the second single on February 3, 2025. Mayhem also includes the Grammy Award winning global hit single "Die with a Smile", a duet with Bruno Mars, which was released on August 16, 2024.
