Jackson Futrell’s review of the albumTwelve Carat Toothache

This album definitely had some good moments. The mixing was good and few of the beats were just boring. Songs like “Lemon Tree” and “Love/Hate Letter to Alcohol” had good emotional tone and unique music. I really liked seeing that side of Post and I wanted to see more. The majority of the album however just seemed to miss for me. It was better than a stereotypical rap album but a lot of the lines, beats, and songs were just ok or even kind of bad. Also the way most of the songs ended was very weird. It’s like whoever mixed it didn’t know how to end the beat so they did a hard fade. Even with one of the songs that would have connected great with the next song. This is my first Post album so I can’t really put it against anything else. In the end though some of it intrigued me but most of it was not great.
