The story telling from beginning to end is unmatched and builds connection and hits on somthing we can all relate with

A breakup opera in pastel: IGOR runs on detuned synths, pitched-up vocals and a love triangle narrated with total emotional commitment — Tyler barely raps, and it's his most complete statement anyway. "EARFQUAKE" begs, "NEW MAGIC WAND" threatens, "ARE WE STILL FRIENDS?" mourns. The Odd Future provocateur fully grown into an auteur.

About
IGOR is Tyler, The Creator's sixth studio album, and was released on May 17, 2019. The announcement of the album came after some speculations the week before, followed by the release of four snippets on Tyler, The Creator's social media platforms. The album contains features from artists such as Solange, Lil Uzi Vert, Kanye West and Playboi Carti and includes numerous vocal samples from comedian Jerrod Carmichael. Shortly before the IGOR release, Tyler issued instructions for listening to the project on Twitter: "IGOR. THIS IS NOT BASTARD. THIS IS NOT GOBLIN. THIS IS NOT WOLF. THIS IS NOT CHERRY BOMB. THIS IS NOT FLOWER BOY. THIS IS IGOR. PRONOUNCED EEE-GORE. DONT GO INTO THIS EXPECTING A RAP ALBUM. DONT GO INTO THIS EXPECTING ANY ALBUM. JUST GO, JUMP INTO IT. I BELIEVE THE FIRST LISTEN WORKS BEST ALL THE WAY THROUGH, NO SKIPS. FRONT TO BACK. NO DISTRACTIONS EITHER. NO CHECKING YOUR PHONE NO WATCHING TV NO HOLDING CONVO, FULL ATTN TOWARDS THE SOUNDS WHERE YOU CAN FORM YOUR OWN OPINIONS AND FEELINGS TOWARDS THE ALBUM. SOME GO ON WALKS, SOME DRIVE, SOME LAY IN BED AND SPONGE IT ALL UP. WHATEVER IT IS YOU CHOOSE , FULLY INDULGE. WITH VOLUME.
