Apart from Jhené's vocals, there isn't really any progress or even a single exciting song after a 6 years wait. Finishing this 20 tracks album was super tough; it was boring and put me right to sleep. Even Kendrick Lamar, who is my absolute favorite artist, wasn't enough to wake me up. It was honestly a struggle to get through. It felt like all the songs were practically identical.

Six years following the release of her previous studio album Chilombo (2020), Aiko surprise announced the album on social media the week of its release. The album includes collaborations with Ab-Soul, Kendrick Lamar, Larry June, Ohma, and Tyga.
