Immortalized delivers Disturbed's metal-machine consistency plus one wild card: the "Sound of Silence" cover that put Draiman's operatic baritone on daytime TV and streaming charts. The originals stomp with familiar precision — "The Vengeful One" especially. A formula band's formula album, elevated by its one genuine risk.

The album was released on August 21, 2015 through Reprise Records, and is Disturbed's first studio album since Asylum (2010), marking the longest gap between two studio albums in their career.
