first thought was it's the director's cut. not quite, a director's cut adds scenes and this adds nothing, it just takes away the wait. on the original record parts 1-5 trail off, three other songs go by, and 6-9 come back to finish the thought, which is half of why the ending lands. joined up at 25 minutes it sounds lovely, nothing smeared, but 6 just follows 5 and it plays like one long jam instead of a return. back to the vinyl order for me.
