Still the easiest Madonna entry point, even if the QSound remaster keeps pulling the room apart and the early fades nag at me.

    Entry point to what, though. Holiday is a 1983 record built on one Linn parked dead center and QSound throws it at the walls. Whatever a new listener takes off this, it is not what those singles sounded like.

    Odd entry point, since the only thing here that sounds like its own year is the QSound (a 1990 gimmick laid over a decade of singles, so you meet the 80s as a demo disc looping in an electronics shop to sell you the speakers). Fades I can live with.
