Jackson Futrell on Madvillainy

This is one of those albums that really challenges me to rate it. If I’m rating it simply on how much I enjoyed it it wouldn’t be terribly high just because there’s other albums that I really really enjoy listening to. However, on the other hand, if I’m rating it on how much I would suggest it to other people, how high-quality it is, or how much I think I could get into it then it would probably be a lot higher. I also know that people’s opinions on this album has definitely affected my opinion of it. But nonetheless this album is still really good. I think all of the soundbites really work into the songs and a lot of them are just earworms that are just really fun to listen to. I really like the feeling of this album that it’s a hip-hop album without this negative feeling but it’s really just fun and enjoyable to listen to. I think this is an album that I will grow to really love however. This opinion as with all is subject to change. Favorite song? All Caps
