patrick leonard wrote the bit in 1989 where the choir comes in and the song lifts off. rob simonsen's choir version is only that bit, two and a half minutes of organ and strings under a wall of voices, no verse to wait through. three versions of one song is normally my cue to complain and honestly the ep could stop after this one. the choir version is for a funeral. the battle royale mix is for a club, a late one, where nobody's checking which version is playing.
