alec miller’s review of the albumElvis Is Back!

I was super hesitant to listen to this album, like putting off work. Halfway through the first song I regretted it (just like putting off work!). The band is solid, the recording is great and the songs are all over the place from the radical beat poetry drums in Fever (yes, that Fever) to the more traditional country western vibes of I Will Be Home Again. You will find yourself tapping your toe and humming along to the harmonies. The bottom line: My partner said “this is the best of these old albums you have listened to! No wonder people liked Elvis so much back in the day.”
