Robbie Williams sings Angels outside his Buenos Aires hotel before his first Argentina shows in 20 years

Robbie Williams played four songs, ending with Angels, for fans outside the Faena hotel in Buenos Aires on September 29, 2026. His three sold-out Movistar Arena shows on October 1, 2 and 4 are his first in Argentina since two River Plate nights in October 2006.

Robbie Williams plays Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires tonight, October 1, his first concert in Argentina in 20 years. Two nights earlier, on Tuesday, September 29, he played four songs for fans on the street outside his hotel. All three Buenos Aires nights of the Britpop Tour, October 1, 2 and 4, are sold out.

Four songs outside the Faena

Dozens of fans waited outside the Faena hotel in Puerto Madero after he arrived, according to Caras and Panorama País. He came out to greet them and said he would come back if he found a guitar. He came back with the guitarist from his band and played All My Life, Selfish Disco, Advertising Space and Angels. Angels was a request from the crowd. During the set he video-called his wife and showed the fans to his family, per Panorama País.

"Sorry it took me so long to come back," he told them, per Caras. Asked why 20 years had passed, he said he had been busy dealing with "myself and my demons."

Some English-language reports put the set on Wednesday, September 30. The Argentine outlets give Tuesday, September 29.

Lima, five days earlier

It was the second street set of the week. His first Lima show was on September 23. The San Miguel municipality then closed the venue, Arena 1 Park, and cancelled the September 24 show, citing evacuation routes and problems with how the crowd left, per Caretas. That day he came out of the Belmond hotel in Miraflores in a Peru football shirt and sang Angels with the fans outside, Andina reported.

"We'll come back as soon as we can. Now I'd like to do a little show here," he told them.

River Plate, 2006

His last shows in Argentina were two nights at River Plate's Estadio Monumental in October 2006, on the Close Encounters Tour. Página/12 reported more than 50,000 people at one of them. He was booked to headline the first day of Personal Fest on November 10, 2018, but storms cancelled that day.

The Britpop Tour

The tour supports Britpop, his 13th studio album, released on January 16, 2026, which went to No. 1 on the UK albums chart. The Latin American leg started in Bogotá on September 20 and moved through Lima and Santiago before Buenos Aires. Mexico comes next.

Angels, the song the Buenos Aires crowd asked for, came out in December 1997 and reached No. 4 in the UK. In 2005 it won the Brit Award for best British single of the previous 25 years.
