"Super" is the thirteenth studio album by English synthpop duo Pet Shop Boys, released on 1 April 2016, on the band's own label, x2. Produced, like its predecessor, with Stuart Price, who produced Madonna’s Confessions On A Dance Floor and now works with The Killers, Super is buoyant and celebratory, it takes the duo full circle by underpinning Tennant’s sharply drawn lyrical observations with clever melodic twists and bustling, Eighties-influenced beats.
