    Riffiter

    The pop-punk record that sounds the most like a summer that already ended. Chad Gilbert's guitar does the heavy lifting on every chorus, bright and palm-muted and never showing off, and "My Friends Over You" is still the one people shout back first. He played on every New Found Glory album from 1999 to February 2026. This is the one to start with.

About

Sticks and Stones is the third studio album and major label debut by American rock band New Found Glory. As with its predecessor, their eponymously titled second album, it was again produced by Neal Avron and was released on June 11, 2002, through MCA Records. Because of the relationship Drive-Thru Records held with MCA, Drive-Thru's more successful acts, including New Found Glory, were "upstreamed" to the major label. The album included the popular singles "My Friends Over You" and "Head on Collision", both of which performed well on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. This coupled with a headline appearance at the 2002 Warped Tour saw the album certified gold by the RIAA in September
