For me, FKA twigs used to be just an artist whose sound I enjoyed hearing every now and then, nothing beyond that. I had zero expectations for this mixtape when it first dropped, but I decided to give it a spin anyway. The sound of the intro track gave off a really distinct vibe for a mixtape. As I kept listening, even though I wasn't crazy about 'honda'. I really started to love how FKA utilized her voice in so many different ways. Hearing all that vocal versatility completely pulled me into the project. FKA is definitely an artist worthy of respect. She tries everything, and nothing ever feels forced or bland on her. On 'tears in the club,' I actually think she outshines weeknd I can't even pick a single favorite on the album because there are just too many tracks that I can't rank above one another. 'oh my love,' 'darjeeling,' 'careless,' and 'jealousy' are all excellent songs. Aside from maybe 3 tracks, I didn't skip a single thing.

Caprisongs (stylised as CAPRISONGS) is the debut mixtape by English singer-songwriter FKA Twigs. It was released on 14 January 2022 through Young and Atlantic Records. The mixtape features guest appearances from Pa Salieu, the Weeknd, Shygirl, Dystopia, Rema, Daniel Caesar, Jorja Smith, and Unknown T. The production is handled by el Guincho, who co-executive produced the mixtape alongside Twigs, as well as Arca, Cirkut, and Mike Dean, among others. The mixtape was supported by one single, "Tears in the Club", which features the Weeknd, and one promotional single, "Jealousy", which features Rema.
