Invincible

If it's great pop music that you're after, with 5ive (J, Abs, Ritchie, Scott, and Sean), you've come to the right place. The opening trio of hit singles from this, the band's second album, is irresistible. "If Ya Gettin' Down" is followed by the uplifting "Keep on Movin'" and the defiant "Don't Wanna Let You Go." All this in front of the excellent cover of Queen's "We Will Rock You," with Ritchie in top form. Things then mellow out nicely in the middle of the album, with 5ive proving as adept at handling the ballads as they are with up-tempo numbers. There's a good range of styles here, and some outrageously catchy tunes that are offset nicely by some great pop lyrics and rapping.
