About
</3³ (Broken Hearts 3) is the 6th mixtape by Atlanta rapper Destroy Lonely. It was released through Opium and Interscope Records on September 19, 2025. It is the sequel to his breakout 2020 mixtape, </3 (Broken Heart/BH1) as well as it's deluxe edition, </3² (Broken Hearts/BH2), and a follow-up to his previous release and second studio album, LOVE LASTS FOREVER, which became Lone’s first debut in the Billboard 200’s top ten. At Rolling Loud Miami, Destroy Lonely was interviewed and was asked: "For the fans out there what’s coming out new for you?" In response Destroy Lonely responded saying: "I’m dropping new music, I got a mixtape coming out at the top of the motherfucking year, we not doing no album this time… We dropping real raw, real feelings… We back on that original shit…" On March 23, 2025, Destroy took to twitter to talk about his future plans with Broken Hearts 3 and a collaboration tape with Ken Carson: "i feel like myself again … i heard we going </33 but maybe later … i had a talk with me. decided i should do whats right. Maybe me and ken first 🙂 and yall know i dont do no playin.. Remember i said this ."

During a CLASH interview that dropped on April 8, 2025 he was asked: "What more could you need! In terms of music, you tweeted the other day that you’ll be dropping ‘</3³’. What made you want to return to that series?" In response he said "For a minute I didn’t know what I wanted to do next… I see what everybody says about me, I see how everybody feels, I see what they want… This is a project that I really just want to be for my fans. Like, it’s just my old producers on there, and old shit that I would do. Just me being completely myself, nothing else." On June 5, 2025, he released his ninth extended play, See U Soon </3, on SoundCloud. The EP included five tracks, among them a collaboration with Ken Carson titled "SRTBBL". In an interview with Clash published on April 8, 2025, Lonely said that the forthcoming mixtape was intended to focus on his existing fanbase and to highlight work developed with longtime collaborators. He described the project as more personal and less polished than his studio albums. On September 11, 2025, Lonely released the lead single "Jumanji". A music video accompanied the release. The following day, he announced that the mixtape would be issued on September 19, 2025.
