Hadsel sits at one tempo and one volume for most of its run, and somewhere around Stokmarknes I lost track of which song I was on. Every time a chorus should open up he stacks another horn on top, so it gets busier and never bigger. The drum machine is a decent idea that doesn't push anything along. I've had Gulag Orkestar since college and this gave me no reason to reach past it.
