It opens with an intro and ends on a track called "Fin.", so RAYE clearly wants this heard front to back, and it holds up that way. The sad songs are blunt. "I Hate the Way I Look Today" says exactly what the title says, and then "Where Is My Husband!" shows up and turns the whole thing into a party. Somehow that swing works. "Click Clack Symphony.", with Hans Zimmer, is the track that points forward, and it fits that her Royal Albert Hall night this month is built around an orchestra. Seventeen tracks is a lot, and the middle drags a little. The best moments are worth the wait.
