the abaddon appreciation record. tight, mean drumming all the way through and almost nobody's heard it because the thing went out of print and stayed there. dolan rolls his r's trying to be cronos, daft every single time, doesn't matter. cursed sliding into i'm paralized still hits harder than most of what the reunited lineup managed afterwards.

lol the drums are the only thing on it doing actual work, everything else is 1992 trying to sound like 1981 and getting the year wrong. should have ended ten minutes earlier, the back stretch is the conveyor running with nothing on it.

Drummer records are always the ones nobody rates at the time. Not my end of the world at that tempo, but you're right that the Dolan years get written off in a lump when the playing on them was never the problem.
