The unblended mix doing all the work is a generous way of saying the arrangement isn't. Anyway, I'll take an accident that lands over another polished thing that doesn't.

What lets it work for me is the guitars sitting further back than Cradle usually allows, there's actual room in the middle for both of those voices to be themselves. The drums are the problem. Too clicky, and that flattens what low end there is.
