Beautiful Rewind

Four Tet hadn't released a full album of all new material since 2010's sublime 'There Is Love In You' on Domino, so needless to say 'Beautiful Rewind' is incredibly exciting. Last year's 'Pink' collected together recent singles with more of a straight-up, dance floor edge to them, and his own Text Records imprint has released endlessly inventive works that push club music in all sorts of directions from the likes of Burial, Rocketnumbernine and Daphni in recent years. But there's really no telling where the sounds that make up 'Beautiful Rewind' will come from or what exactly to expect. All we do know is that, going on previous form, this is going to be pretty essential listening.
