The album was released on 4 May 2018 through Domino Records. The album is the following entry in the series from his previous album, Immunity. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from critics, the album received an average score of 85, based on 17 reviews, indicating "generally "Universal acclaim ".
