First Listen Vibe: I really enjoyed it. I feel like this is what punk’s all about—just fast riffs, some punishing (especially for the ’80s) instrumentation, and some really deeply sarcastic, sometimes even funny, definitely politically driven lyrics. I think that the lead singer’s kind of sarcastic, over-the-top voice worked so well in creating a little bit of space to let the instrumentation be hot and heavy, but also bring in a lot of humor along with sarcasm that really bites. So dope album—really enjoyed it.
