Painkiller did this gallop in 1990 and nobody's beaten it since, but the riff here is genuinely fun and the solo earns its keep. Kick still clicks like a woodblock. Crushing regardless.

Painkiller gets used as a ruler on every gallop ever recorded and it flattens the conversation a bit. This one isn't chasing that, it's a gallop with a MELODY sat on top, and the solo is the best thing on it. Anyway.

ten feels steep for one gallop and a solo. it's fun, sure, i just don't think anyone's naming this one next summer.
