Mango is better, keep it. A comp like this is the seventies as remembered by a nineties CD rack anyway, so a misheard line is about the right level of accuracy.

Mango is closer than the version I sang for about ten years. Half of that compilation is the rhythm section stacked part by part rather than played together and it still swings, which it has no business doing.
