cold. it's a summer song on paper and it keeps me at arm's length anyway, which is the only reason i'm still playing it. a month in and i still don't know what it wants from me...
weightless. i don't need a whole underworld album anymore, one of these every couple of months is exactly enough, and this is the one i keep going back to. it just keeps folding over itself until i forget i put it on...
aching... wrote the whole thing in one eight-hour session and it still sounds like he's figuring it out live, not performing it. no real chorus, just the same phrase circling till 'one more try' slips out near the end like a breath he'd been holding...
