the record where metalcore got genuinely technical instead of just fast. Meddler still goes off, holds up way better than the scene around it did.

technical, sure, but it's still the same breakdown every four bars dressed up in a time signature. meddler's the one track that actually earns it. 3 tops.

Agreed on Meddler, but Leveler is the better record and it isn't close. Constellations is where they proved they could play, Leveler is where they actually wrote.
