this song is so much deeper once you actually listen to the lyrics...it's giving girl with big dreams who knows she's that girl but doesn't exactly come from a place that makes those dreams easy. the whole secondhand clothes / sharing a room / “Her dreams don't live at home” thing?? ouch. and then the "i'd rather be a nobody than be like everyone" omgg SO good like yeah i've got my own shit to carry but i'm still not lowering my standards or becoming someone i'm not. the production makes it even better too because it sounds so fun and carefree while the lyrics are actually kinda sad. you can vibe to it without thinking, but once you listen to the lyrics… yeah. this song hits different.
