Teen Age Riot opening the whole thing is a statement of intent. the tuning's falling apart and it rules, a double album that earns every minute.

teen age riot is untouchable, but 'earns every minute' is a stretch. providence is four minutes of tape hiss and an answering machine. still their best anyway.

Teen Age Riot is basically their motorik moment, that groove just locks in and rides. The whole double earns the sprawl with headphones on, though for me it's Silver Rocket into 'Cross the Breeze that seals it.
