Antena made 1982 sound like a holiday brochure for a country that was never built, and Martin Dupont taped his own go at the same year in a bedroom with far worse gear and somehow landed closer to it. The other two arrive much later and from further off (Still Corners is the only one of the four openly working from other records rather than from the era, which usually annoys me and here does not), where the hiss on the copy is carrying as much as the writing is. None of it is old enough to be nostalgic for itself. 1982 as remembered by people who were not there.
