More about The Fratellis
About
The Fratellis are a Scottish rock band formed in Glasgow in 2005, known for their infectious blend of indie rock and catchy melodies. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Jon Fratelli (real name John Lawler), bassist Barry Fratelli (real name Barry Wallace), and drummer Mince Fratelli (real name Gordon McRory). They are joined for live performances by Will Foster on keyboards. The band gained widespread attention with their debut album Costello Music (2006), which featured hit singles like "Chelsea Dagger" and "Henrietta," quickly establishing them as a popular act in the UK indie music scene. Their music is characterized by energetic riffs, sing-along choruses, and a playful, sometimes whimsical sound. After a hiatus in 2009, The Fratellis reunited in 2012, continuing to release albums such as We Need Medicine (2013), Eyes Wide, Tongue Tied (2015), In Your Own Sweet Time (2018) and Half Drunk Under a Full Moon (2021) showcasing their evolving sound. Known for their lively performances, The Fratellis have maintained a loyal fan base and continue to tour internationally, blending rock anthems with their signature upbeat style.
