The anti-pop pop album: ANTI shrugs off a decade of singles-machine obligation for doo-wop covers, dancehall ghosts and "Higher"'s two-minute drunken aria. "Work" did chart duty, but the record's spine is mood — Rihanna sounding, for the first time, like she answers to no release schedule. Her best album; possibly her last, which makes it myth.
