About
Released in 2005, Gold preceded Lessons in Love: The Collection as a two-disc overview of Level 42. Both have the basics, but there are slight differences when it comes to deeper album-cut selections and single edits versus album versions. Either set will do. Most of the group's essential songs, including "Love Meeting Love," "Starchild," "The Chinese Way," "The Sun Goes Down (Living It Up)," "Something About You," and "Lessons in Love," are here. For whatever reason, neither one of their last two U.K. top A-sides, "All Over You" and "Love in a Peaceful World," is included. Lessons in Love lacks those songs, too.
