That relentless energy continues onto “Heartless,” with its dive-bar-ready swaggering emo rock-pop, coming to a full stop on the atmospheric R&B of “Easy,” the final new track and the record’s sexiest ballad. If the original version of the album took influence from retro horror flicks of the ’80s and ’90s, this repackaging refocuses the listener’s attention to the most action-filled moments of each.
