About
South Korean singer, rapper, and actor Key is a gifted performer known for his pop-, dance-, and R&B-influenced sound. He first came to prominence in the 2000s as a member of the massively successful boy band Shinee before launching his solo career with 2018's Face, which he repackaged a year later as I Wanna Be. Following a Japanese EP and mandatory service in the South Korean military, Key resumed his career with 2021's Korean EP Bad Love, the first in "retro trilogy" of '80s horror and fantasy-inspired albums. He rounded out the trilogy with his 2022 sophomore full-length, Gasoline, and 2023 expanded reissue Killer, both of which hit the Top Ten in South Korea.
