Fit For Rivals

Fit for Rivals are an American rock band formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 2008. Fit For Rivals began when Renee met lead guitarist Thomas Amason at a gig and they chose to set up a new band. The band was named Fit For Rivals and they recruited the rest of the band from there. Their debut album, Steady Damage, was released in 2009. The band achieved success through their lead single from that album, Damage, which has a video on YouTube that has received millions of hits. Another one of their songs, Crash, was used on WWE pay-per-view. The band's fan base, known as the Fitters, have been asking for a new album to be released since the release of Steady Damage and this was later confirmed on Twitter by Renee Phoenix. Their second album is said to be released in late 2013 and take influences from a more straightforward rock and roll sound than the more pop-punk inspired sound of their first one. The new album will feature more instrumentation, from keyboards, or piano. The band has stated, "Not to expect it to sound anything like the first album, we're having fun over here!"
