Through Zero is the seventh studio album by the heavy psychedelic/progressive rock band Elder, released on 29 May 2026. The album is a joint release across multiple labels, including Stickman Records in Europe, Blues Funeral Recordings in North America, and Birds Robe in Australia. Musically, the record serves as a darker, more atmospheric, and introspective entry into Elder's discography. Recorded in Berlin at Big Snuff Studio, it balances the "big riff" intensity of their landmark album Lore with heavy Krautrock-inspired rhythms, cinematic synthesizers, and lush, progressive soundscapes. The phrase "through zero" is borrowed from audio engineering—describing a frequency passing through a zero point into the negative—acting as an existential metaphor for a non-linear journey.
