About
Encore is the debut studio album by the French electronic music producer DJ Snake, released on 5 August 2016 by Interscope Records. It release has been preceded by its lead single "Middle" featuring the English singer Bipolar Sunshine, released in October 2015, which reached the top 20 in France and the United States, the top 10 in the UK and top 5 in Australia, and the single "Talk" featuring Australian vocalist George Maple, released in June 2016, which peaked at number 39 in France. The songs "Propaganda" and "Ocho Cinco" were also made available via iTunes before the album's release. In the United States, Encore debuted at number 8 on the Billboard 200, with 32,400 equivalent album units, marked the DJ Snake's first top ten album. The album selling 7,796 copies and boasted over 16.9 million streams in its first week. Encore was the first Snake's album to debut at number one on the Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Albums.
