An expansive progressive metalcore band hailing from Orange County, California, Dayseeker make explosive anthems with a melodic, arena rock flair. Getting their start in the early 2010s, they released their official debut full-length What It Means to Be Defeated in 2013. Their sophomore effort Origin landed in 2015. Following both lineup and label changes, they issued their third set Dreaming Is Sinking/Waking Is Rising in 2017. Their sound continued to evolve with the hit album Sleeptalk (2019) and Dark Sun (2022). Formed in Orange County in 2012, the group features the talents of former Arms Like Yours members vocalist Rory Rodriguez and guitarist Alex Polk, along with guitarist Gino Sgambelluri, bassist Andrew Sharp, and drummer Mike Karle. In 2013, they released an untitled EP and signed to InVogue Records. The full-length album What It Means to Be Defeated followed that same year.
