About
Purified is the seventh solo album by gospel artist CeCe Winans. This album was released under her own label, Pursprings Gospel. The singles "Pray" and "All That I Need" were released in July in anticipation of the album's release. Winans' nephew, Mario Winans, produced the hit single "Pray" while her son, Alvin Love III, helped write three songs on the album. "Pray" reached No. 1 of Billboard's Hot Gospel Songs chart and "Let Everything That Hath Breath" peaked at No. 8 on Billboard's Dance Music/Club Play Singles chart. Purified won a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Soul Gospel Album at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards on February 8, 2006. The song "Pray" won a Grammy for Best Gospel Performance
