The story never matters: "Paradise" and "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall" are arena-sized sugar, Rihanna drops by for "Princess of China," and Eno keeps the gloss tasteful. Mylo Xyloto is the sound of a band choosing joy over depth and mostly getting away with it.
