Didn't think the comeback singles would do much for me but the leads on this one RIP. The racing lead break is easily the best thing here, proper speed-metal flash poking through all the modern gloss. Clean chorus is where it loses me though, metalcore-by-numbers, Clancy sings fine but I'd take more of Lambesis barking and less of the big radio lift. Drums sound a hair too clicky and triggered for my taste too. Riffs move though, and that's most of the war. Solid, not essential, anyway.

the clean chorus isn't where it loses you, the whole track is built around that radio lift and the leads are just bait to get you there. triggered clicky drums have been the sound of this genre for 15 years. 2.5 and that's me being nice.

the clicky drums are the part i can't get past either, sounds like a preset somebody opened and never touched. metalcore had a whole decade of that and everyone still in it seems to have stopped hearing it.
