Mac's daylight album — after the purple haze of Faces, GO:OD AM moves with a clear head and a working rapper's hunger. "Weekend" and "100 Grandkids" bounce, "Perfect Circle / God Speed" stares addiction straight in the eye. Not his most adventurous record, but the one where he proved he could simply rap with anyone.
