Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys
My Chemical Romance · 2010
3.5★
The neon left turn: Danger Days swaps The Black Parade's funeral theater for desert-punk comic-book futurism, and "Na Na Na" plus "The Kids from Yesterday" carry the conviction. Fans wanted gothic grandeur and got Day-Glo; the album's confidence converted most holdouts eventually. MCR's brightest record, in every sense.
