those pitched-up vocals sound like getting a text from a ghost. defined a whole decade of uk music and still lonelier than anything that copied it.

Archangel is the banger and nothing that lifted that template ever sounded half as alone (the crackle does the emotional heavy lifting). solid 5.

everyone bit the crackle and the rain, none of them got the cold. self-titled hits lonelier for me, but that's splitting hairs.
