the breakup record that screams. Jacob sounds like he's tearing something out of himself and the closer is eleven minutes of catharsis.

The title track is 11:26 and only the last stretch of it is really the point, everything before that is Ballou burying the guitars in the red. Catharsis is generous, it's closer to exhaustion, which is probably why it works.

The title track earns those eleven minutes. Rest of it runs together for me but that closer is crushing.
