took me a few tries honestly. the fidelity is rough and mangum sounds like he's about to cry the whole time, then one day it clicks and you're wrecked.

The 'one day it clicks' thing is so real, I bounced off it twice then side two just leveled me. Would've given anything to catch these songs live before Mangum vanished, the singing saw and horns in a room must have been something. anyway.

the lo-fi is load-bearing here, clean it up and mangum just sounds like a guy oversharing at a party, the fuzz is what makes the crying land. anyway.
