The Slow Rush is an hour-long meditation on time disguised as a disco-psych record: Parker's one-man production remains immaculate — "Borderline"'s pillowy groove, "Lost in Yesterday"'s nostalgia critique that doubles as nostalgia. What it lacks is Currents' ache. Gorgeous, unhurried, and a notch too comfortable.
