1997 and Got 'til It's Gone is still the one, Q-Tip and that Joni loop doing all the heavy lifting. slept-on is the word, nobody ever files it next to the pop records. anyway

Got 'til It's Gone flipping Joni Mitchell with Q-Tip on it was Jam and Lewis at their most fearless, still sounds ahead of everything. People sleep on how warm that whole record sounds too, not just how personal it is.
